About Me
My name is Sheldon Roth and I am from a remote mountain town in Colorado. Alpine, Colorado has a population of 100 people and I was the first baby born there in approximately 75 years. Growing up in a little town known for its massive amounts of snow, I was always outdoors. Nature has always held a special place in my heart, and because of this I specialize particularly in outdoor scenes. On August 11, 2016, I moved to the new place I call home: Oklahoma City, OK. My favorite things to photograph are mountains, flowers, and almost anything found in the wild. Photography has always been something I have been passionate about in my free time, and I simply had a desire to do more with it. Purchasing a camera, buying a few lenses, taking a few photo classes, and doing immense amounts of research all pushed my dream to a reality. When attempting to get the best shot, my methods are not always practical. For a few of my mountain scenes, I bundled up in -5 degree, snowy Colorado weather, grabbed my camera, and headed out on my snowmobile. Photography is a way I can express myself and really capture all that life has to offer. I am always looking for new contacts. If you would enjoy meeting with me for lunch or coffee sometime, please feel free to contact me in my contact page. Thank you for visiting my website, and for enjoying and supporting my art as much as I do.
